Story County Community Foundation - Your Partner in Philanthropy
The Story County Community Foundation (SCCF) is a nonprofit public charity created by generous local citizens. It builds permanent charitable funds called endowments. Each endowment distributes a portion of its earning annually in perpetuity--forever--to support a charitable purpose. Donations may be made to funds which address community needs and reflect a donor's interests and personal philanthropic goals. The SCCF acts as a broad umbrella, sheltering many separate funds.
Currently the foundation holds more than 90 different funds established by individuals, families, and nonprofit agencies to benefit Story County, Iowa. Since its founding in 2005, the foundation has served the needs of this area and the wishes of our donors through personalized service, financial stewardship, local expertise, and community leadership. The SCCF seeks to make philanthropy easy and accessible for all by providing flexibility of giving options.

Story County Community Foundation facilitates and promotes private giving through the establishment of endowments, acts as a resource for nonprofit endowment building, and awards grants for the betterment of Story County.
