The Ames CVB works to build economic activity in the Ames area by promoting convention and visitors activities.   The Ames CVB is a member-based organization that supports business growth.

Our Mission
The Ames CVB strives to be the recognized resource in the growth, development, and execution of the meeting, convention, and event industry for Ames & Iowa State University.

How does the CVB accomplish these goals?

The Ames CVB actively develops business from a variety of sources, including group tours, leisure travel and convention and meeting markets.   This facilitates the arrival of tens of thousands of people and millions of dollars to the community.

The Ames CVB provides a variety of services and resources to conferences, meetings and sports & leisure events.   We assist clients with getting them in touch with a variety of vendors, caterers, facilities, transportation services and recruitment of volunteers.
