Who We Are
We are a non-profit volunteer management agency, serving Story County since 1973. We recruit, screen, and connect volunteers age 55 and over with rewarding volunteer experiences that meet community needs. We also work with citizens of all ages in providing the coordination of community volunteers needed in response to a natural disaster or public safety/public health emergency.
What We Do
One of the roles of our agency is to pre-train volunteers over the age of 18 to staff a Volunteer Reception Center and a Non-Emergency Phone Bank during a disaster, public health emergency, or missing/abducted person incident.
