The Ames community will experience exceptional Animal Control and responsive, humane, and cost-effective Animal Sheltering. Through these programs, animal-related conflicts will be controlled, reduced, or eliminated; animals will be returned safely to the community and our citizens will live in an environment that accommodates and resolves human-animal conflicts.
