Who We Are
Nevada Food at First is a free meal program that started in Spring 2009 to care for “those who hunger.”
What We Do
Households order carry-out meals for pick up at either Nevada First United Methodist Church or at neighborhood meal stop location closer to home. The meal distribution “footprint” is expanding beyond Nevada to include other eastern Story County communities. Which is why we are actively looking for volunteers to help with food recovery, meal preparation, meal packing and meal delivery.
